A day in Wakefield

When my mother asked me if I wanted to go to Wakefield for the day to listen to a live folk band the answer was simple… of course !

I jump at any opportunity to explore and listen to amazing live artists.

So off we went on our little 45 minute journey to Quebec !

Wakefield is a beautiful little town and has so much character. We got to walk and look around some shops before the show as we had some time to spare. I even purchased a beautiful set of earrings (that I’m wearing in the photos) from a Native Art Boutique called Khewa.

The band we saw was The Small Glories, and they blew me away. Their harmonies and banjo + guitar playing skills were more than impressive. Their talent is undeniable and the music was so beautiful it’s hard not to be emotional while listening. They were having so much fun on stage and had cute little stories to tell in between songs it’s impossible not to become an immediate fan ! Needless to say, I recommend you check them out.

After the set we got to grab a couple snaps of my #OOTD (classic me, I know).

The weather permitted me to wear a more Spring-time outfit.

Thanks for sticking around xo

90s bby

The 90s is by far my favorite style of airmax and so i thought i’d play up the 90s vibe with some thrifted mom jeans and a middle parting in my hair.
I’m glad to finally be on summer break from school but the sun needs to come out to play a little more amirite?
I hope you all had a lovely Wednesday.

A shoot with YOWcitystyle

Last Friday I had the pleasure to meet with a lovely blogger who goes by the name of “YOWcitystyle”. The idea behind the blog/Instagram is to show off the street style of Ottawa while promoting local areas.

I decided to shout out the tea party cafe in the market because the atmosphere is cozy and calm and they have a great variety of tea and vegetarian snacks. I do my best work for school when I’m there.

For my outfit I wanted to do something a little out of my comfort zone with the long lines and baggy layers.

Hello friends, I hope you’re having a lovely Friday!
Today I’m posting a #flashbackfriday to what I wore last Sunday for Love day! (okay okay I know so much for a flashback…)
I didn’t want to go for a typical full red or pink dress for valentines day so instead I opted for this beautiful silk white dress that gives off a romantic yet classy vibe. I threw the duster coat on since I thought the colours complemented each other perfectly and it worked as an added layer for warmth.
I chose a bold dark red lip instead of my go-to nude for some more drama.
As for jewelry I wanted to keep it very minimal as the focus is on the jacket so I threw on my beautiful silver chain that my boyfriend generously gifted to me for the special day ❤ (thanks bae).
And that’s it!
Wishing you all a happy weekend.
